The Pharmacy Manager provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for the pharmacy department, ensuring safe, compliant, and scalable pharmacy services in support of pediatric home health and infusion care.This role provides leadership to pharmacists and pharmacy staff, partners closely with clinical and operational teams, and ensures pharmacy services support safe, effective, and timely patient care particularly in a pediatric home health environment.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of pharmacists and pharmacy staff
Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to support professional growth
Conduct performance evaluations and support ongoing development
Medication & Clinical Oversight
Oversee dispensing of medications to ensure accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance
Review prescriptions for appropriateness, interactions, and therapeutic effectiveness
Support optimal medication therapy management and patient outcomes
Regulatory Compliance & Quality
Ensure compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations and federal guidelines
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA
Lead audits, quality assurance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
Pharmacy Operations
Manage daily pharmacy workflow to ensure efficiency and patient-centered service
Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and medication storage
Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory
Collaboration & Communication
Partner with physicians, nurses, technicians, billing, and customer service teams
Resolve medication-related issues and communicate recommendations clearly
Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration and care planning
Training & Education
Provide ongoing education on medications, safety standards, and best practices
Ensure staff maintain licensure, certifications, and continuing education
Strategic Leadership
Own pharmacy strategy in alignment with organizational growth
Partner with executive leadership on service expansion and optimization
Lead readiness for audits, surveys, and regulatory reviews
Financial & Operational Oversight
Budget oversight and cost control
Vendor and contract management
Volume forecasting and staffing models
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (or equivalent)
Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the state of practice
5–7 years of pharmacist experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical therapies, drug interactions, and patient safety
Experience in home care, infusion therapy, and/or pediatrics
Knowledge of sterile compounding, aseptic technique, and parenteral preparation
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Interest in process improvement, quality initiatives, and pharmacy leadership
Demonstrated experience leading teams through growth or change
Experience partnering with executives or enterprise leaders
Strong regulatory and compliance leadership background

Our services allow our clients to remain and thrive in their homes, schools, and communities.
